Sky is a songwriter and performer with a radically unique worldview. Informed by his education and career as a physicist and teacher, he has been drawn to develop an understanding and formulation of the science of synchronicity, the "science behind the Science of Mind" if you will.
Sky's vision is that we are soon heading into a time of great renaissance on planet earth, a hugely productive period precipitated by a deeper understanding of the laws of nature and of our interconnectedness to each other. Sky is committed to an understanding and teaching of this science, an understanding that may be necessary to carry us through the tumultuous time of transition we currently find ourselves in.
Through song and science, Sky hopes to convey the urgency and knowledge to wake up our society, change the default paradigm from " I can't" to "I can!", and form a coherent and competent society. His own journey of maturity and personal transformation permeate through his performances, as a testimonial to the mantra "Think for yourself, do what you love, and the world will change."
"When I heard Sky perform in person I was so struck by his sincerity - and I know that he really walks his talk. He actually gave me a business card I could plant in the ground and it would grow flowers! His songs are well written, beautifully executed, engaging and very insightful. Not only that - he can play piano with his hands and his feet! You have to see this. I look forward to hearing more of his music and reading his article in the Science of Mind Magazine."

"Sky, you and I had a brief conversation about how your journey as a full-time musician was going and I recall that you told me that the thing that had expedited your success was not talent but interpersonal relationships. That observation has been incredibly eye-opening. It also helps me to understand on a real-to-my-life anecdotal level why talent alone can only take you so far and that talent or lack thereof is in many ways in the ear of the listener."

"I feel changed having met you. I feel different, inspired mostly. You are living your life with so much purpose and it has really touched me. You are changing the world."

Asilomar workshop offering with Rev Barbara Leger Sky and Rev. Barbara will be offering a workshop on Monday morning August 2, 2010, during the annual Center for Spiritual Living conference at Asilomar. The morning session starts at 10:30am (I believe).
I am very excited about this work, for many reasons; the deep work Barbara does, the importance of the topic both in my life and in the world at large, the music I get to share, the physics of synchronicity I get to share, and the way the topic has already changed Barabara and I in developing the workshop.
Workshop title: "When Somebody MUST Win, Everybody Loses"
New Workshop I have begun a partnership with Rev. Barbara Leger, using Science of Mind principles and principles from my work as a physicist to look carefully at the importance of learning to work together in partnership with the people in our lives. The workshop is titled "When Somebody MUST Win, Everybody Loses".
In the interactive workshop we have created, we will explore how science and spirituality support a deeper understanding of real partnership, and how important this is for transforming our world both at a personal level and on the global stage.
In addition to contributing some mind-bending yet practical scientific insight, I will be sharing original music. Come join us at the Asilomar
Science of Mind Conference, Monday August 2, 2010.
